Trumbull Industries was founded in 1922 in Warren, Ohio. Today it operates various product divisions including municipal products (water and sewer), industrial, PVF, plumbing, kitchen and home centers.

Within its municipal division, Trumbull began its waterworks manufacturing division in 1994. Using its experience as a waterworks distributor, Trumbull developed products with features and pricing that would be attractive to other waterworks distributors. Knowing the buying habits of distributors, Trumbull maintains inventory to ship virtually all products from stock.

Product categories include valve and curb box products, keys and tools, products for corrosive soils, meter couplings, joint restraint, yokes and covers, treatment plant products, hydrant parts and accessories. Every year, new products are added to the current product line.

Trumbull purchased the Ludlow and Corey-Rensselaer hydrant division in 1990. In addition to all patterns, molds and engineering drawings, all manufacturing equipment was acquired. That equipment was moved into the Warren, Ohio manufacturing facility, which does machining, welding, painting and assembly.

Today, the product line is sold nationally to Waterworks distributors, valve representatives and manufacturers. Trumbull sells through telemarketing and manufacturers representatives. Inventory is maintained in Warren, Ohio as well as stocking locations in Orlando, Florida and Seattle, Washington.
